Potentilla fruticosa 'Sunset'

Resembling miniature single Roses, the myriad red-to-orange-to-yellow blooms on Potentilla fruticosa 'Sunset', a hardy, foolproof shrub, blaze all summer long! In full sun, the flowers vary from red to dazzling orange to golden-orange; in part shade, they are a uniform rich red. Long-lived through the toughest winters (well into Canada!), Sunset grows 16 inches high and about twice as wide making it ideal as a ground cover, foundation planting, or shrub border specimen. This hardy Potentilla likes nearly any soil, but best performance is in light, well-drained ones.
